Colmes gets pwned!
Congressman JC Watts put the smackdown on Alan Colmes last night on Fox's Hannity and Colmes. (Hat tip to Political Teen.)
COLMES: Congressman and Mr. Secretary, it’s good to have you back on the show. Congressman Watts, John Kerry had the same record on weapons as Dick Ccheney did. I can go line item that was the case. I want to talk about in terms of the president’s speech today, what did he say that was new? I didn’t hear anything today from the president’s speech that was a new piece of information or new strategy or new direction or new piece of information that helps us understand what victory means and how we define that.
WATTS: Well, then, Alan, the reason you didn’t hear anything from the President today is because you listened to the Presidential response to him as opposed to listening to what he’s saying. He’s been consistent in saying we’re not going to use any artificial time frames. We’re going to continue training. We’re going to continue doing the things we’ve done over the last year. We see that infrastructure taking hold and we can draw down our troops hopefully sometime in the next nine, 12, 14 or 16 months.
Hoo-Ah! I hope the Republicans can continue to show this kind of testicular fortitude.
