Cindy Sheehan busted

During the demonstration at D.C., Cindy Sheehan got arrested. Surprised? Me neither. Michelle has the scoop.

Sheehan, 48, was the first taken into custody. She stood up and was led to a police vehicle while protesters chanted, "The whole world is watching." Sheehan's 24-year-old son, Casey, was killed in an ambush in Sadr City, Iraq, last year. She attracted worldwide attention last month with her 26-day vigil outside President Bush's Texas ranch. Sheehan was among several hundred demonstrators who marched around the White House on Monday and then stopped in front and began singing and chanting "Stop the war now!"

Yeah, the whole world is watching. Some will think this is the nail in the coffin of the Bush administration and for others it confirms what they already knew--Sheehan is a moonbat suffering from BDS (Bush derangement Syndrome).

Much ado about nothing. This will not matter one wit months from now, just as Terry Schiavo is already forgotten. It certainly won't hurt Bush in anyway. Everyone has pretty much made up their mind about Sheehan (including her husband, apparently).

Cindy Sheehan is a radical moonbat lefty who cries and moans but makes absolutely no difference in the world, other than make other moonbats look like idiots (not hard to do, frankly). She is a legend in her own mind. When the 2006 elections get here, she will largely be forgotten. By 2008, no one will remember her name.

This is a feel good for the leftists and a good laugh for the Republicans, but that's about it. Cindy will never realize she jumped the shark long ago, but even the left wing media will get bored and move on. Until then, she remains highly amusing and insulting all at the same time.
